Even though learning analytics was rated # 1 in Donald Taylor’s L&D Global Sentiment Survey 2020 – it is hard to find any applicable case studies that can be used as a blueprint to boost impact driven training in the industry. The COALA community has committed itself to share best practices in order to bring this topic forward in industrial training in Southern Germany. The community met for the 2nd time in July and discussed two research projects.
Digital transformation in learning is too often been seen as a multi-purpose-tool to solve all our previous training challenges. One of the greatest advantages of eLearning is its word-wide accessibility. Methodology and didactics need to be understood and applied in classroom training first, before transforming content into the digital world of learning. Otherwise any digital transformation project will fail.
